I like stuffed peppers,
This were big peppers, a seven inch bowl filled a single pepper.
So Albertson's advertized "Large Green Bell Peppers" for just 3 for $0.99. Normally Bell Peppers are sold by the pound, big peppers run about 1/2 to 2/3 a pound each. This would be a good deal. So after work on Wednesday I stopped out of my way to hit ALbertsons.
*SIGH*
The sign in the peppers said "crisp" and "fresh" but not "large". Oy Vey!! They were not kidding it wasn't "large". Three peppers were under a pound, over a buck a pound, more than I usually pay for peppers. Still, maybe.... except they had been checked out and rejected and had been sitting for quite a while -- and not fresh and not crispy.
Thursday I went to Albertsons, taking part of by lunch time my hour. I think the same peppers were still there, still not crisp, still not large.
