Along with my taking out the LAN and Telephone equipment the movers finally came in to take awat the desks and partitions -- leaving behind all the stuff that was in/on/under/beside the desks:

Sure is a mess, ain't it?
Finally got the OK to kill the old LAN at the Call Center. Finally able to start removing the old equipment and jumpers so I can clean up to the final configuration of the new LAN. Pictures later, once the equipment racks are back up to OCS standards.
Had a trouble at the Call Center, a noisy phone. Find the desk, pick up the hand set -- horrid noise. Rock the switch on the headset amplifier, noise goes away. Quick fix. Client is not there so I step over to the next cube to leave a message for the client. Not to mention next cube is Jacqueline Johnson, one of my many girlfriends.
Whoa! Looky there!
Today she was extra spiffy, dressed in her bright blue Cap and Gown, proud graduate of Santa Monica College class of 2006, degreed in accounting and business administration.
Anyone who can do what I cannot deserves Congratulations.
Doug Wingo, who was out on benefits due to cancer surgery is back at work. Didn't take my advice to stay home and relax and recover. But then, his mother-in-law is staying in his house. "Yeah, I can accept that."
He's on light duty -- only doing as much as anyone else rather than his normal twice as much.
Now I can pawn off these Spectralink troubles they've been giving me and get back to the two moves that are due next month.
