Dear Mr. Paladin,
Thank you again for your inquiry regarding your 2012 Vespa LX 150 i.e.(62.8 bore) As mentioned to you the displacement of your Vespa is 150 cc and is legal on California highways, further proof of the displacement of your Vespa's engine can be found on the vehicle emissions control information sticker that is located under the seat bucket and adhered to the metal portion of your frame. We hope that this has answered your question on your Vespa LX 150 i.e. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Thierry Customercare 800-631-1101 / 212-380-4433

PS: there was a typo on the website regarding the bore. Thank you for pointing this out to us. It was rectified.

RE: PowerSports Network and Vespa USA.
Vespa USA have corrected the bore, as done Powersportsnetwork.com. Now I have to check about the Piaggio Fly 150 -- it has been listed as a 62.6 bore for several years, and it is why I wanted a Freeway Legal Vespa and not the 149.6cc Fly. Not that I care -- style counts and the Fly has NO style.
