The left ventricle never uses all of the blood out in the ventricle, some blood is left inside used. What is pushed out is the "ejection factor" -- how much of the percentage of the blood is left pushed out. Normal is 55% or even more.

"The heart's contaction is weak so less blood is pumped to the lungs and the body. It is usualled defined by an ejection of fraction of 40 to 45 percent or less."
My Ejection Fraction is about 35% . . . .
