Not so bad
Turning 60 wasn't as bad as turning 59.
We went to Northwoods Inn, they have a 25 ounce Porterhouse for $30 or so, baked potato, rice, a unique salad (take some from bowl A and some from bowl B) washed down with draft Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
The Northwoods has excellent food in a California Casual setting. No reservations accepted -- first come, first served. Even on a Saturday evening we only had about a 10 minute wait. While you're waiting for your table you can nosh on the piles of peanuts the have sitting on tables in the waiting area -- just toss the shells on the floor. They'll even bring you a drink, no having to go off to the bar area to get it yourself.
