Thumper

Got my license, got my insurance. Rode Thumper into work this morning. Felt good to be back on two wheels. John said that normal people start riding in the Spring, not the Fall. One, I've never claimed to be normal. Two, this is Southern California with it's 365 riding days per year. At worst it'll get to the high 40's and a bit of rain -- might drive the Camaro on rainy mornings, might not. Have a Flyscreen coming UPS, should be here in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, at work, I've just finished my doughnut, the coffee's nearly gone, and a stack of service orders need to be called Hot and worked. Ciao!

Paladin--congrats on getting back on the road again! I too just purchased a bike (for commuting, and... :) )...'05 C50, Blue/Black. It's sitting in my garage, waiting for me to go to MSF class next weekend...can hardly wait!

I'm in Northern CA., near Sacramento. If you ever get up here, I'll ride with ya, if you can tolerate a noob...we have some of the best riding up here in "Superior California" :)

Way to go, Duke! My MSF class was two Thursday evenings and two Saturday mornings. Certificate in the mail the following Friday.

I'm an extremely conservative rider -- I have no need to pass all the stopped cars at a light and get in front so I can cut off the lead car when the light turns green. I don't speed. Just cruise along and enjoy the breeze and the scenery.

And after working 100 hours over a 12 day straight period I *REALLY* needed the ride time.
