Window = emergency exit


The reason I wanted the four foot wide window was because the bedroom window serves as an escape route in the case of fire blocking the hallway. I believe the requirement is 18 inches wide -- that front opening is 20 inches wide and 43 inches tall.

I can't believe that you two got the shopping done,unloaded the truck through the window, installed the new one and then made it work the next day and can still walk upright. It's loooooking good! Good luck on the "rest of the story"!
